Groovy Scrub brush
Take tomato bag and twist tie in the center, fold in half and tape a handle. Snip the bag ends into strips and it becomes an ideal scrub brush for those items with small grooves that need cleaning.
Great for those groovy place mats.
And doubles as a boutonniere in case your daughter's prom date forgot his.

Fan Blade Fuzz
I got this idea from Who Knew? when they suggested using a pillowcase for the job. I stitched a sleeve from some old flannel fabric. It works so much better. You spray generously the inside with your household cleaner, pull the sleeve over the blade and rub as you pull the sleeve back off. All the airborne fuzz and dust stay in the bag and not all over the furniture where it starts its annoying cycle again.
This may even work with an old flannel pajama pant leg!

Gatorade Crystal collection
I cut the tops off large empty Gatorade bottle. They make great containers for holding and washing my paintbrushes. They also make great looking vases for floral arrangements. Almost passed as an expensive crystal vase once when I delivered flowers to myself at the office.
5 stars for STAR B
Indulgence for me is a SALTED CARAMEL HOT CHOCOLATE in the winter and LIME REFRESHER in the summer. And almost anything served in a Starbucks mug at home. I think the image of the siren has a psychological effect on me.
I Need More Iron
I love iron work, so when I found this gate I had to have it. But I had no need for a gate so I painted it turquoise and gold (for a patina look) and hung it on my bedroom window. It softens up the atmosphere from those hard lines of the blinds. Maybe even adds a bit of romance to the space.
